Our first touchpoint, the discovery meeting is where we gather all the core details from your head, make notes, and ask more questions. Our aim is to fully understand the ins and outs of the problem you’re setting out to solve, and ensure we’re the right fit to help bring your idea to fruition.
PROPOSAL
We build bespoke options to help you achieve your goals.
Taking all of our learning, we craft a proposal for you. We lay out what you can expect from us; the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and required investment to get you there. If everything looks good, we’ll prepare a contract and issue an invoice for the deposit to book your spot.
Kickoff
We walk you through our research, giving you your first chance to guide development.
Your introduction to our design process—by now we’ve already conducted an audit and carried out initial relevant research, which we’ll present to you at this meeting. Talk about hitting the ground running!
Development
Guided by your input, we help you refine your idea through multiple rounds.
We take all the information we’ve received from you, and informed by our research, we begin working out various solutions to solve the core problem. Initially, we’ll include at least 3 different concepts which we’ll narrow down to one throughout several development rounds with your feedback.
Final Concept
We’ll land on a single final design direction and get your sign-off.
The culmination of all the research, sketching, modelling, CADing, blood, sweat, and yes, some tears. This is the final design as intended, ready for final engineering and design for manufacturing operations. We’re not quite done yet, though...
Design Intent
A comprehensive document outlining the design’s goals and features.
Now that your shiny new concept is defined, we need to communicate all the little details to your selected vendors and/or investors. We’ll create a design intent document outlining the problem being solved, how it’s being solved, all the design features, and even things that were tried and didn’t work. Painting the full picture, this document ensures any vendors maintain the original intent through detailed development and manufacturing.
